I loved the subtle changes and additions to CBFD that went to show that they didn't just polish up the original. The one that sticks in my mind the most is the big-ass beast on the bridge. That speech makes me ROFL.

Wait what? They changed it? I thought it was just a remake of the old one with polished up graphics. I've unfortunately never got the chance to play the game at all, however, and it is only thanks to the Xbox version I'll be able to play it once I've successfully located a seller.. Actually, I already have a seller. Just gonna pay him and wait by the mailbox =)

We ARE talking about "Conker: Live And Reloaded (inc. Conker's Bad Fur Day)" aren't we? If so.... You mean you haven't played the Xbox version yet!?!? You, sir.... I used to think you were cool....

The original game is still in there in its entirety, but there's a few added extras in there, and while I'm really dying to tell you about the bridge monster, I would much prefer you to find out for yourself. Trust me, its fucking ROFLtastic.

Also, the multiplayer part of the game is - I'd say - one of the top 3 games that warrants paying for XBL.

I know, k? I've been wanting to play this shit for AGES. I wasn't gaming back in the day when it first came out, then it became so incredibly rare to find, then it came out on Xbox which I didn't have, and ever since I got my 360 I've been looking to buy it.

Well, theres likely to be a LOT that you won't "get", not having played the original, but the bridge scene at the start has a big bunch of dialogue that sets the way forward, and if it doesn't make you LOL, then there's a lot of comments that will fly by, but you'll still enjoy the game.

Why wouldn't I understand it? :/ If I understand correctly, L&R is the entire original game + extras..?

Yeah.... alright, brief spoiler.

The bridge scene. There's something blocking your way. In the original, you hit it. In the new version, just to show you they've done some real work on it, you follow the original path, and there's a whole chunk of dialogue that follows (as well as something new to do) that made me ROFL.

There are more things like this later on, where you'll go to do something, and there'll be a reference to the original. Its fucking surreal, you simply HAVE to experience it.

But the game itself is awesome anyway, and the L+R game is mental. I'd say this was one of the few games worth getting an Xbox for.

If you ask me the Conker's bad fur day is the only real Conker game. Live and Reloaded wasn't BAD by any means but... well why is an X-Box game more censored then an Nintendo Sixty FOOOOOOUUUUUURRRRRR game? And the multiplayer though online and fun in it's own right doesn't really have the charm the first one had. I may have to pick up the X-Box version someday though since I don't have an Nintendo Sixty FOOOOOOUUUUUURRRRRR and I've never played it all the way through. And as for the Conker Pocket tails... well lets not get into that.

Personal I thought Grabbed by the Ghoulies was the better of Rare's X-Box efforts.

OMG I can't believe how good this game is. It's even better than I'd anticipated. There's just so much happening all the time. I've had it for two days and I've played for a little over 6 hours according to the clock. I'm on chapter 4 or 5 I think.. I just arrived at the cavemen. The great poo boss was so fucking awesome... Yeah.. never a dull moment. They really paid lots of attention to all level design, all characters, the voice acting is amazing! Fantastic game. The way they make fun of themselves is just spot-on. Whenever the game is a bit cliché, repetitive or just stands out somehow they comment it and they manage to mirror your thoughts exactly... From what I've see, this game is right up there with OoT and GTA IV.

@mule: yeah, the censorship is a bit silly, but you can still make out what they're saying behind that beep. And certain things in this game are far more disturbing than the language... It's just a really unique and fun style. They mix cute characters with rude language and just really bizarre situations.. It takes everything and mixes it together, and it's not afraid of becoming offensive.

So did you see what I was on about with the big monster on the bridge near the start, and the dialogue that went down?

Awesome game.

Don't ever expect a sequel though, well at least one that has Conker in it.
