Dance Central is fucking AWESOME

It was on sale, pretty much $50 off since it came with a $50 gift card. For $100ish it becomes a little more acceptable. It works! But it reminds me of the 3DS, where it does a lot of cool stuff, but it's up to your needs. It's not a universal thing. My brother, a CODbro through and through thought it was fucking stupid. He though it was weird...you actually had to dance. The ironies of video games.

I look at it as my music game peripheral of the year. I haven't had one in a while. Since DJ Hero I didn't buy a huge piece of limited use plastic. At least I can use Kinect for other things. And that's how I justify it: my party plaything, add alcohol and for the next year I have a central thing to do at my house with friends. It's the talking point, like the Wii or Rock Band was. It's definitely no replacement for a controller, but it's an alternative.

Nyko sell a clip on lens thing that allows you to use the Kinect in a smaller space, also allows for two players in the space that the kinect usually requires for one, and apparently, it works quite well.

Get Kinect Sports, 'cause it's worth it.

Wasn't sure about Kinect Sports. It's on sale for $20, should prolly get it for those not ready ti dance away xD. Is the marathon pack a good deal for Dance Central? It looks like all the DLC packs minus a few randoms.

I think so, I only saw somebody talking about it on twitter, but they were a member of the gaming press, so they might have got an early preview version.

The packs were only made available this week. I had all the DLC prior to this week, so I dunno. I'd say it's probably worth it if you want to expand your songlist.

I have trouble doing the "huh" sometimes. It seems like such a simple move, I dunno what I'm missing. Stuff doesn't even highlight in red to show me what's wrong.

Go into break it down mode and select that specific move, and you can slow it down. It'll help a ton, trust me.

Just been watching Ax play Kinectimals at my place. Should have recorded it because it was fucking hilarious.
