So, I got an e-mail from Xbox titled "In 27 Days..." and this is all that was inside:  With the XBOX Logo above it. Which leads to here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hub/reveal So, new Xbox revealed on May 21? Also: This is post 5555 in the XBOX section. Conspiracy? Yes. |

inb4 no games That's what sells a console anyways, and so far the only things I have to look forward to are Destiny, Mass Effect, and Fallout 4 (or whatever the hell Bethesda is working on). |

360 was too quiet for too long at the end of this generation. Either MS is dead in the water or developers had already shifted their focus to the next xbox and we can expect some strong support in the early going. I'm not really sure which I think will happen. I'm 99.9% sure that used games will NOT be blocked on the system. And I'm highly skeptical of always-online being a requirement for game playback. It'll be nice to get some facts finally. |

Merely a comment on the state of our world… I don't like how marketing and PR use command language rather than invite language… Watch It… what if I don't want to. Do I have a choice? What if I have to be at work. I could be doing something dangerous. I know its pedantic, but this reads more like orders than an invite. |

I'm not exactly sure if I'm following you there. Tail end of last year and beginning of this year saw the release of Halo 4, Forza Horizon, Dance Central 3, Gears of War: Judgement, and their full push to make Xbox a Media Hub rather than just a game console. Yeah, they're not focusing on making a dedicated game console, I get it, so I hope to get some more info on what exactly they intend to do with the new one. Microsoft themselves have had a relatively steady stream of various 1st party or exclusive content for the entire generation. It may seem like less since Sony finally got rolling on the PS3 with exclusives and first party awesomes, but I feel that both the PS3 and the 360 haven't been all that quiet. I just hope they don't change the controller... |
