I have a swifty new graphics card and processor. Got my GTX 560 on. Also got 4 gig memory, Windows 7 Pro (x86), and a 3.1ghz dual core Athlon II X2 255.

So, not too bad on the processor, but shithot graphics and memory and I can always upgrade the chip.

However now I have fewer games than the Atari Jaguar.

Suggest me some awesome games to play.

Anything Modern Warfare will get you slapped.
Anything Battlefield will get you stared at.
Anything mediocre and bland will get you scoffed at.
Anything Indie will get my attention.
Anything that has great storyline and graphics and good gameplay to boot is going on my list of shit to get.


To give you a rundown of the kind of games I enjoy;
Cave Story (Love that retroy feel),
Noitu Love 2 and Gunstar Heroes (Loved both for the same reason. Great music, amazing action, high speed frantic explosions everywhere badassery, fluid acrobatic movement and really cool story)
FEAR 1 (despite it's pretty bland gameplay, it was a good capable shooter with some kind of nice touches and I rather liked the story. Though don't suggest 2 or 3, can't be bollocksed with them. it wasn't that good),
Call of Duty Black Ops (my GOD I loved that game, but that's a once through only playthrough sadly)
Fallout New Vegas (Despite it crashing all the fucking time, but you know, can't be arsed to get that again)
Limbo (The story and the creepiness sold me on it, and while the puzzles were fiendish, I loved solving them and it was rewarding even given the rather short (but very bittersweet) ending),
Dark Souls (fucking love the combat in that game and again the subtle way in which the story is told, even if I am shit at it),
Skyrim (kind of, less so really. It was fun for a bit but you know, kinda meh in retrospect really. Could have been a lot better)
Dark Sun 2: Wake of the Ravager (Buggy as sin but a great old school AD&D 2nd ed PC RPG)
Bastion (Again, story, music and character sold me on this. Gameplay was REALLY good too. Fucking adore this game so much)
Portal and Portal 2 (Puzzles? Check. Amazing story? Check. Fantastic characters? Check. Great sense of humour? Check. Amazing game? Fuck yes)
Half Life 2 et al (Despite the age of the games, its story is really good and I so want to see the end)
Sonic Colors (Doesn't take itself too seriously, fun gameplay. Great concepts )
Klonoa 2 (So many tears. so much fun. so much awesome. loved that game so much)

basically you should be seeing a pattern now. I love games with good, strong, emotive stories. I like different levels of action and am open to many genres and gameplay styles, providing the story is good. I really appreciate good stories and especially fun gameplay. Admittedly, I'd like some games that test out my awesome graphics card but I'll deal with lesser graphics too. I like to play a game and have it move me to very real emotions as a result of the story (paroxisms of rage because of how shit it is do not count. Pissing my pants in terror however does, but I will admit if something is too scary I might not go back to it for fear of shitting myself all over the place in fear and never getting any further. 'S why I couldn't play Amnesia. I got to the bit with the invisible monster in the water and at that point I was too terrified to continue.

So yes! Please! Suggest some games. I need them, pretty badly.

forgot to mention that the only MMO/primarily online multiplayer things I'm interested in currently are Diablo 3 and TERA Online, and they aren't out yet. Sorry guys. Also I have TF2 but I can't be arsed to load it up yet. My net connection is fucking bullshit, I am not even kidding.
