Bumping this because there is a Quake Con sale.

I am buying Doom 3: BFG edition. I made about $3 from those dumb trading cards so I just paid $2 for the game. Damn, it feels good to be a gangsta!

I am really tired of Skyrim. That game has been on sale more than a hooker in Vegas. I would like to have the game but I really don't care about it. I have oblivion to play and according to people who played both Oblivion is a much better game.

Skyrim was my first ES game. After logging like 400+ hours in it, I tried Oblivion, and couldn't maintain my focus for more than an hour.

Might be different if I installed some texture mods or something to make it a little more lively.

I bought Oblivion, and I literally had to force my way through it. I just could not get into it at all. It was just so... shit.

Skyrim, however, was far superior in every way. Combat, scenery, everything was just far better. And I could make my character how I wanted far easier than in Oblivion.

I also have Morrowind, and I can't even bring myself to go back to it after getting past the customs bloke, getting to the very first town, and doing NOTHING other than turn up before I get turned on by everyone in the village. Seriously. My only action was "walk forwards" and bam, massive fucking AI brainfart. No thanks.

Skyrim, however, was the shit.
