Hey guys, many of you might not be interested to play this game but it's now free and I'm having a blast with a couple of friends and wanted to see if anyone wanted to join in the fun.

Just to confirm, this game is now FREE, please don't confuse that with the popular term of FREE TO PLAY which are usually riddled with microtransactions and methods to part you from your money. There is no way you can spend money in this game, everyone is equal.

So, this is an old game, and as Orrah pointed out to me, looks and feels much like Deus Ex (the original). It came out a few years later and the graphics are a fair bit more complex, but it still is old compared to today's standards.

It's a Cyberpunk, FPS MMORPG. It's in a living breathing city which is huge, but not as massive as the post-apocalyptic watseland which can be explored. You can specialise in many weapons such as loads of different guns, vehicles, flying drones, melee, or just use psi-spells to fuck up your opponents (other players or mobs). Anything in the game can be constructed, weapons, medical supplies, vehicles, armour, implants, and any trade is part of a huge circle of the ecosystem.

get money, buy a new apartment, buy a vehicle, start a clan, and get a job. there are tonnes of different factions you can work for, and there are unique benefits to each one.

It's a deep game, not without it's bugs and flaws but I think it's well worth it, given it's a free game.
