I gave up, wasn't having fun. Took me 5 hours of playing to finally find a chest that had a new staff in it for me (been using the one I started the game with), and 10 minutes later, I get a just slightly better one from a quest. Fuck.

Never ran into any events at all. I asked if the game had them in zone chat, and one guy spoke up that he ran into one last night. One guy---had seen one event.

the game is still in development. Give it time.

I had a feeling it would be cack. Not to just rain on something for no reason but other than it being in the Elder Scrolls series, I had seen nothing to indicate any sure signs of quality.

Might be one of those things they just pick up over time, but if I had to put money on it, I'd say it's doomed from the get-go.

Remember how much shit there was to do in the FF14 beta? We had some giggles.

Part of me really wants this to succeed, but if they can't make a single player game work, how the hell are they going to handle an MMO?

No joke, the FF14 beta was 10x better than this.

To be fair, what you played was the beta of it's re-release.

They had plenty time to get to that point from the previous beta, and the previous full on release the first time round.

But fuck it yeah, Prof should just get FFXIV and skip this pantaloons.

I own the original FF14, but Enix seems to think my code was redeemed to a different account than the ones I have always used. I don't wanna buy it again.

Finally got to play some TES Online Beta this morning, which was a shame as I only got my hands on a key last night. All I can say is the game looks WOW, but plays MEH. I was totally ready to preorder but now I'm not so sure.

If I could sum the game up in two words, it would be;

Moon Gravity.

This may be true, but the physics are totally not what you'd expect from a game this late in the development cycle.

Didn't like it, felt like a very watered down version of Skyrim to me, which was a real shame. Some streamers on Twitch even hinted that it was bad (never mentioned game name, as it was under strict NDA) but everyone knew what they were on about.

I haven't played any of the last couple I was invited to, but except for one session where no one could advance out of the tutorial for a couple hours, I enjoyed what I played. Maybe I'm just not enough of an MMO vet to look at this and think, "Ugh, this does nothing for me", or maybe I'm enough of an Elder Scrolls fanboy that I'm overlooking things that you guys aren't, but I don't get the hate.

Orginal FF14 was crap. The reborn FF14 is the tits and I would love to join you guys but I am playing so many games. Plus, I tend to go ham and provolone on games these days.
