i've just seen the house before i read the new rules and JZ honestly if it was made out of sandstone it wouldn't look too bad

I didn't want it to be made out of sandstone. I never use sandstone in Minecraft unless needed to craft something. Anyway, I thought okay, we would all be in a village and given the rules Dan laid out seemed fair. I was thinking we all would have different houses that would reflect each user differently given the space of the previous house and if there is room to expand. If I have known the rule before hand that everything had to go with the village I wouldn't have wasted 4 hours gathering materials/ fixing up the village/ building in the village. I was going out on a gathering run to complete my house and if Dan didn't log in for an hour or 2 My house would have been completed and I would have been on my way to my new area. Then I would be more pissed off than I am now.

Only way I would play again is if a new map is made and there are clear cut rules known before entering the game.

I don't understand how you thought that everything was gonna be different, seeing as me, Ax, Pie, Dragon, and Terra all had places claimed before you logged in, and they were all sandstone.

If you weren't going to stay there, why didn't you just build outside of the village like you said you were going to? Or why don't you now so you can build whatever you want? If it took four hours to get that built (you're doing it wrong, first off, 'cause that wasn't a big place), then you've got other people you can ask for help getting set up. If you just want a little niche to hide out during the night if you're away from your house, that little hut next to my place has enough space for a bed.
I can't begin to tell you how many times I've built something and scrapped it because of one thing or another. That's Minecraft. It's not a big deal. It's definitely not a big enough deal to ask to have the map wiped and have EVERYONE lose the stuff they've built. Just come back and remodel your place, or see if there's a time where some of us can get together to help tear it down and rebuild it.

Me and Caleb started at the same time and he isn't staying so he really doesn't care to rebuild. It isn't like this village just popped up and was made by Dan this is a NPC sand village that was close to spawn. I go all out when I play which is why the house looked the way it did. it took me hours to get the materials needed for my house. Looking for sheep's took forever because there are only pigs and nothing else in the area and I only got wool from the pyramid that I don't know how I found but I did and it was already scavenged by someone. I had to plan out what I wanted to do for my house in the village and on top of that I was fixing up the village. I put in all the sandstone pathways and I was replacing the sand in the village with dirt because we had a lot of dirt in the village already so I was doing my part in making it look nice. So, with all of that and figuring out what I was going to build took me awhile to do.

However, Since I mentioned that two kingdoms thing earlier... I could just stop my bitching because it is already pointless and I just needed to vent and I can go out far way and make my own kingdom and people can pick teams and we can turn minecraft into CIV 5.... Hmm... Dan would have to be the one to comment on it... if you could add mods to the server you would need to get a locked chest mod or hmm... We would have to lay some ground rules unless we are playing by street rules.

I vote we play by Wheaton's Law, "Don't be a dick".

Just cos you can steal from anyone, don't.
Just cos you can build anything you want in whatever style you want, don't.
Just cos you can sleep in someone else's bed and smell their musky scent as you fall asleep, don't. (Did it once, hadn't got a bed by then).

If someone is in need of materials, give a shout out. That's why I put down the Community Stash. That's why I harvet the crops / canes whenever I'm about. I take a bit, rest goes into the chest for anyone to use.

There's a complete island to the south-west (it's on the map), build an entire JZ Empire. I'll come and see it. I'll even help with supplies if you need.

Oh, I've built in the Savannah island. Forgot to mention that, but I'd completely lost it until I looked at the map.

Zombie babies can live during the day and you can find a rare baby zombie jockey that rides a chicken.
