What color 3DS would you want the most?

Personally, I would kill for this purple one they showed at e3:

But out of the ones they offer at launch, I'm definitely getting the blue one. Because black is boring and I don't like the sparkly greyish look it has.

The black colour is largely caused by carbon, which is a major component of plastic and the added carbon acts as a strengthening mechanism on the crystal structure level. In order to get white plastics in electronics manufacturers use less carbon in order to get the colour right. It's why Apple is still having trouble with the white iPhone 4.

Really? I didn't know that. I do know, however, that carbon composite plastic is crazy strong so it makes sense.
