Brawl's slowness never really presented itself as a problem for me.

Would I prefer the next installment to be quicker? Sure, why not... That being said, I don't want the 10x gravity kinda thing that Melee had going for it.

The Smash Bros games, which are among my favorites, are largely ruined by the tourneyfag expectations and mindset (I guess I can agree with Jlikew00t's statement about people ruining games... though he was using that in a wrong scenario when speaking of weegee's mansion).

Smash Bros doesn't need to be fast paced, if only because it's not really a fighting game. It's moreso a party game, if anything else. If you want fast paced action with high stakes, take it to blazblue or something. The smash bros games are meant to be played with all explosive items, 1.5 damage ratios, and several friends to share the experience... It's not meant to be played with strict rules such as 1v1, no items, fox only, final destination, etc

At least those are my two cents...

Also tripping was the DUMBEST idea ever. If there were an actual reason for it happening (such as a banana peel or some debuff), then I wouldn't really mind, but it happens for seemingly no reason.
