[spoiler]The best ending IMO is if he becomes a vampire and lives with her on equal terms. Otherwise he'll mature too much for her and they won't be able to connect as well. The downside is he has to kill people..[/spoiler]

Oh, and btw, the new discs will says Subtitles: English (theatrical) on the back. So they're easy to spot.
