no, because both sides care about USA vs Canada.

The Germans aren't really that bothered about beating us, they're more concerned about beating the dutch (I think).

Your goalie had to stand on his head last night. Brodeur doesn't fumble the puck those 2 times early in the game, and we have a totally different result. But that's hockey I guess. Luongo will be in net from here I think.

That said, I'm disappointed it took this long for me to get a razzing about US topping Canada. The fact that I never heard a peep about your World Junior team ending Canada's 5 year Gold Streak, just goes to show me how sadly underexposed the tournament is in the States.

That whole collisions was the Eric Staal's fault, I wasn't too worried about it.

In the end, for large stretches of that game we were the vastly better team. The US blocked some shots well, but in the end Miller was the difference in the game. It shouldn't have even been close, but he was fantastic, as usual. Definitely, one of, if not the The top goalie in the world.

If Luongo had played, we'd have won that game. I firmly believe that...

Eric Staal did that? Goddammit. He's putting my home team to shame here. :(

But yeah, USA! USA! USA! :D

Ya I felt we dominated most of the game, just some stupid mistakes. Even just looking at the shots difference you can tell lol, I'll give props to Miller though.

Miller was probably a brick wall at one point in his life. No human is that good.

Ovechkin is pretty boss, I won't lie. It is a screw over that Canada has to play Russia, however. I definitely wouldn't miss that game for the world.

I was absolutely blown away by Miller the other night. I mean, I pick him every year for fantasy, but that was beyond my expectations. USA also got some nice deflections in, but even so, It's plain to see that Brodeur is not as prime as he used too. Luongo should definitely be in against Russia.
