Exactly, and there shouldn't be any question that this wasn't intentional, either. How the fuck do you accidentally ride the guy for half the length of the bench so that he's being pushed over the rail into the glass? It's not fucking possible.

THAT GAME WAS AMAZING! Devils won in over time! 3-2. I think this game got me back into my hockey groove.

Hockey is awesome.

Btw, Crosby took to the ice for a light skate. First since concussion. Huge step.

Awesome. Did he make the Clear Day Roster deadline, or is it too late for that?

Pretty sure clear day only applies to the AHL

Ah, wasn't aware of that. But then, I only recently found out about the Clear Day stuff about a week ago, considering that this is the first season my team's had to deal with it. We got screwed on it, too, 'cause one of our better D-men and our leading scorer were spending time up in Raleigh when the deadline hit. The D-man didn't clear waivers to come back down, either, 'cause he got picked up by Calgary, and it's not looking like the other guy will clear waivers, either, if/when he winds up leaving Raleigh. I really hope he stays up there for the remainder of the season, not only because he deserves it, but also because I don't wanna see him get picked up by someone else.

Well, regular season ends April 10, so shortly after that. I just can't be arsed to look any further on this stupid laptop.

Due to boredom, I've actually started following this NHL season.

I'm actually quite pleased with how the Oilers are doing so far, apart from their last-minute loss to Calgary. They broke the Capitols' undefeated streak, that has to count for something.

The Bruins disappoint me. So. Much.

Clearly, my epic putdown of all things Toronto was enough to discourage further posting in this thread, so I'm gonna bump it with the most bizarre interpretation of a hockey rulebook ever.

I don't really care for either of those teams, since they were division rivals to my team for quite some time until a couple seasons ago. Even so, this is the sort of thing you can expect from refs in an ECHL/AHL game, at least on the East Coast.
