You're telling me you listen to Faith Hill? Ew.

I was happily listening to that Tiger Punch song, and got a raging boner.

Then I saw aqua and..well...

Nevermind. I unofficially rename this thread, "Smokey and Ax's music exchange" considering we both seem to fucking awesome but probably only to ourselves.

Anyway Smokes, the singer unfortunately looks like he's from a UK council estate. Someone tell him to buy some regain!

Any of their albums you'd recommend to start?

I agree that the Dark Ride and Gambling with the devil (the latter I have a signed copy of by Andi Deris) are fucking win. Though my faves (marginley) are the first to Keeper albums, and Walls of Jericho. I love each song from all three albums, which I think is an amazing feat. Actually I could say the same about Gambling with the Devil too...

OK Gamma Ray's latest album, To the Metal, isn't what you should have started on. When you do eventually go back to Gamma Ray (and I could never kill you, the rest of the forum would destroy me for ruining our YRYR section) I strongly suggest you listen to Majestic (powerhouse, srsly) and No World Order. Both of these are recent but rock the balls off of me.

Oh and I erm....kinda owned the first Aqua album when I was 10.

...sorry...

Gotta set an example man...

Plus I don't think you'd appreciate a thread filled with Gamma Ray and other various European power metal...

I've only managed to get a hold of The Skull Collectors, their latest one. There's a couple songs from previous albums on Youtube, but I haven't listened to them yet, and I'd personally rather wait 'til I get the albums. Still, The Skull Collectors is pretty awesome by itself.

I actually don't think I've played Walls of Jericho. I can't remember.

Ah well I got the first album, cause I was about to his the sack and wanted something for the next day's work journey.

Good news is, it's fecking ace. Maybe not as good as the second but every song I've heard so far (1-5) has been sweet. They sound a little like Lost Horison to me, only less cheesy...
