Dude, I have jalapenos on my fucking breakfast sub.

12" Subway, 2 handfuls of the fuckers.

Spicy food is like oxygen to me.

So again.

Pussy.

Jalapenos are nothing. Try adding Habaneros and Thai Chilies on it.

The day Subway starts offering habaneros is the day I go broke.

But their creamy sriracha is pretty good too.

The creamy sriracha was amazing. I could go for two of them right now.

I was talking more about the sandwich they had. The chicken sriracha sandwich.

So my folks are out of town for two weeks, leaving me alone in a large-ish house with my girl.

Not one to miss an opportunity, I did exactly what any other reasonable person would do, and went grocery shopping for high-quality product instead of the more reasonably priced stuff my mom buys, and went wild on today's meals.

FIRST UP (click for big)
A SALAD MADE WITH BABY SPINACH, SOFT BUTTER LETTUCE, GOAT CHEESE, TOASTED CHOPPED ALMONDS, KALAMATA OLIVES, DRIED CRANBERRIES, AVOCADO...
Image

AND HOMEMADE BALSAMIC HUMMUS DRESSING (this looks slightly less appetizing)

AND FOR DINNER
I MADE A HOMEMADE ALFREDO SAUCE WITH CARAMELIZED ONIONS, GARLIC-ROASTED MUSHROOMS, SPINACH, REDUCED APPLE CIDER, AND TOSSED IT WITH SHRIMP OVER PASTA
(the picture isn't great cause it was taken in a room lit solely by like 15 candles [~romantic~] but still)

DON'T EVEN COMPETE. YOU CANNOT TOP THIS.
TWO OF THE BEST MEALS OF MY LIFE.

You offend me, as though I would use pre-ground pepper. My mom uses it, I don't touch the stuff.
