So, Baltimore apparently hosts America's 2nd largest anime convention. This is the 20th year. I'll be going Fri, Sat, and Sun. I'll have fun doing nerdy shit, and makin' fun of other nerds. Good times. Also, I will be dressed as Hank Hill, and speaking in his voice. Not anime, I know, but it's BETTER. |

Having a blast so far. Tomorrow's the short/final day. There was a dude dressed as David Bowie from the Labyrinth, and he even went out of the way to include the bulge for accuracy. Cell battery had died by that point, so no pics, but it did happen. Got to meet 2 friends that I've known online forever, so that was awesome. The street urchins/panhandlers are tailoring their wares/give me money skits to fit the nerd convention, and it makes me laugh. Some are selling cheap knockoff figures of DBZ 'cause that's the only anime they know. Snagged a complete JP copy of Phantasy Star Collection on the Saturn in the dealers room for a steal at $20. |
