You must have been the only person left to watch it. Everyone has seen it, and yes, powerful movie is powerful.

80s Robocop is baller as fuck. Hardcore to the max. You will love it.

If you fancy watching some of the best 80s movies ever, I suggest:

Commando, with Arnie
Weird Science
See No Evil, Hear No Evil, with Richard Prior
Top Secret, with Val Kilmer
Blazing Saddles, which to be fair, if you haven't seen you haven't lived
Airplane, with Lesley "God" Nielsen
Labyrinth, with David "Oh my god that codpiece" Bowie
Legend, with Tom "lol he's like 12" Cruise
Top Gun, also with.Tom Cruise

I think thats quite enough awesome for one post. In fact, I challenge you to watch at least one of those a day. You will soon lament not being born earlier, as the 80s was amazing for movies.

all of these

I have seen parts of Blazing Saddles. That movie is very funny. Thanks for the list I'll watch some of these during the week.

My suggestion is totally stupid, but if you're in the mood for a simple, exhilarating, and pleasantly visceral beat-em-up action movie then you should give The Raid: Redemption a shot. It has a similar premise to the recent Dredd movie. It has a sequel out already that has a pretty good buzz, but I'm not sure if it's out in the States or what.
IMDB
RottenTomatoes 85% - "No frills and all thrills, The Raid: Redemption is an inventive action film expertly paced and edited for maximum entertainment."

I maybe late to the party but I just finished watching Anchorman 2 and my god was it better than the first film. If you liked the first anchorman then you will really like the second one. HERE BE SECRETSMy sides are still hurting from laughing at the dinner with Linda Jackson's family.

The first Anchorman was absolute trash. i will defend this viewpoint until the day I die.

Watched 1987 Robocop and 2014 Robocop. They were both alright as they both had their own unique touch to it. The 1987 version being the original but the 2014 version felt right for the time period. It is up to you if you want to watch the movies but start with the 1987 version first. It is the better of the two.

Another suggestion.

I recommend Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It is a Charlie Kaufman and Michel Gondry movie, so it has the perfect amount of weirdness. It is just so heart-warming to me, and it's one of the few love stories that actually works in my opinion. I consider it one of the best movies of the 00s.

IMDB
RottenTomatoes 93% - "Propelled by Charlie Kaufman's smart, imaginative script and Michel Gondry's equally daring directorial touch, Eternal Sunshine is a twisty yet heartfelt look at relationships and heartache."

Saw Gran Torino and Black Hawk Down the other day. Amazing films. Gran Torino seemed like it was going to end in action but it surprised me. Black Hawk Down was just crazy. A great war movie.

I just watched Dredd. The movie was pretty good. I loved the action and all the gore was spot on. No, I am not going to watch the Stallone Judge Dredd. The trailer looks like crap.
