I have a feeling it's going to be like Serious Sam, which was complete fucking wank.

Also, sports and stuff added.

I hope your use of "wank" as Serious Sam is seriously awesome.

As for Eat Lead, it's a piece of shit, that attempted to take the piss out of the game industry with titles repeating themselves, the only problem was it was a load of garbage itself, so the biggest joke was on themselves.

That I did indeed. Added it now, as high, so it should turn up pretty soon after I'm done with Dark Dawn.

Dude you're older than me aren't you? What the hell did you play for FPS games before CoD came along and made everything so dumbed down any one including their mums could pick up and play on?

Honestly I'm not a massive Serious Sam fan either.

They're pretty neat, VERY retro-feeling which is good, but they're just not as fun to play as other FPSes to me.

Doom, and Quake mainly. I really didn't hit FPS games hard until HL1 came out, and even then only once Generations was freshly out of the gate.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is finished, and I'm getting through Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

I'm on a training course for most of the time, so reviews will have to wait until I manage to find them in my course notes =\

RPGs for Dummies, and about 25 hours too damn long. Oh, and having summons and classes linked on the same thing? Bad idea man. Especially as it ends up just unsetting the right ones for an opener, summon that one, then just fall back into melee mode until the boss is dead. Even the last guy, who isn't that bad once you get his attack pattern sorted out, falls pretty damn quickly when the summon hit for about 2k, and Matthew + Tyrell hit him for about 300 a pop each. 2 melee, 2 healers, and the last guy is dead in about 5 minutes tops.

Oh and Phoenix Wright... Where'd my fucking lifespan go? Seriously, I finished about half of the game laying in bed this morning. And please, don't finish the game for me. If you want to be taken seriously, never give someone the key to finishing the game, and EXPLAINING THE DAMN THING about 20 seconds before you need to use it.

So after losing my review notes in the middle of my training course notes, and then spending the last 4 days looking for the fucking things, the Golden Sun: Dark Dawn review is finally done and dusted.

Phoenix Wright review should follow shortly, although it'll probably take me longer to type it up than it did to actually complete the damn game in the first place...

Venetica is looking nice, looking at a cross between Sacred, and Painkiller. Although working for DEATH (caps intended, that's how he speaks, dontchaknow?) is nice, some of the bosses are buggy as fuck, and the lack of being able to kill anything demonic with anything but the Moonblade basically relegates you to improving the shit out of that scythe blade, and giving every other weapon in the game the finger...

Been hugely busy at work (and looking at alternative work as well), end of tax year sucks ass if you're working in a bank... But Venetica is getting played whenever I possibly can, which isn't a great deal.

Plus, slight change to the place I'm getting the games from. Venetica was bought because of Lovefilm fucking up royally with dispatching new things to me (that and HUEG LIEK XBAWX discount). Movies, they were fine with, but games? Fuck that. I'd return a movie and a game in the same envelope, they'd send me out another movie. When I called up to complain, all I got was some script-monkey from an indescript country telling me that they'd not received the other item. Cue me talking to a grand total of 3 different "supervisors" on 3 different occasions to tell them that they MUST have received the game, because it was in the SAME FUCKING ENVELOPE as the movie that they'd sent me out another one for.

So now I'm getting my crack from Games Frenzy (http://www.gamesfrenzy.co.uk/. Same price as Lovefilm were, but games only. And I can get 2 of them out, so my other half can pick her own one to play as well. Oh, and you get 10% of any moneys you give them for anything back as loyalty points. Sub runs at £14.99 a month for 2 games at a time, unlimited swapping. And from that you get £1.49 in loyalty to spend.

Oh, and if you really like the game, you can buy it while it's still at yours, and they'll ship you the case and manual free. Which is pretty fucking nifty, given that with Lovefilm, you had to return the game, and wait for them to ship you the copy you'd bought. And they'd charge you for the pleasure.

So as of now, this is what my Games Frenzy queue looks like...

Code:
Title                                Format          Date Added       Priority
BlazBlue Continuum Shift (PS3)       PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Little Big Planet 2 (PS3)            PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Nhl 11 (PS3)                         PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Tiger Woods Pga Tour 11 (PS3)        PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Eat Lead (PS3)                       PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Two Worlds II (PS3)                  PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Hyperdimension Neptunia (PS3)        PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Fight Night Champion (PS3)           PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PS3)   PlayStation 3   March 04 2011    Normal

So yeah, my queue has a massive raging one for PS3 titles as well, so if you can think of something that you want reviewed for the 360, then just say!

Those.

Review them.

Preferably Fight Night first since I was interested in in for awhile. Haven't played it since Fight Night Round 3.

Hyperdimension Neptunia and Fight Night Champions were kind of spur of the moment ones.

I remember having loads of fun playing the earlier Fight Night games on the PS2, and just watching the trailer for Hyperdimension makes me want it.

I mean come on, Mega Man and Alex the Kidd as summons? Fuck yo' traditional ones, I'm summoning the Kidd himself.
