So, Titanfall on the Xbox One is only 17GB but the PC version is 48GB. The difference you ask? The PC versions audio isn't compressed. The reason for leaving the audio uncompressed was so that the game can run on less powerful rigs such as rigs with dual cores. Respawns lead engineer Richard Baker said that "a two-core machine would dedicate a huge chunk of one core to just decompressing audio." Now, I understand wanting to get people with crappy rigs to play the game but giving the game 31 extra gigs so that people with dual cores can play your game is just BS. This isn't 2005 anymore. Rewspawn you seriously need to fix this or at least offer two different versions of the game on PC. One with uncompressed audio and one with compressed so that the people who brought there computer out of 2005 can save some space in their hard drives.
Well, that is my two cents on the subject. What do you guys think about this? Post comments below and let us know what you think.
