Read it before you dismiss it. It's a really interesting piece on the science of how the human brain and eye work together to perceive depth, how males and females do this differently and the role this plays in motion sickness in virtual reality environments.

I think putting a label of "sexist" on it is going too far, simply because I doubt that anyone was even remotely aware of this when they designed the Oculus Rift, but that's definitely an interesting read.

Seeing as how the designers are male. This probably shouldn't be too surprising that this could happen.

Yeah, the way I read it is that it is sexist in the sense that it favours (probably not the right word, but you get the point) one sex over the other, not in the sense that the designers wanted it to be a product that only men could use. I would imagine the title is supposedly to be slightly tongue in cheek.
