Extremely sad news. These websites have been around for a decade, and all of a sudden AOL decides to axe them completely. To me, Joystiq was pretty much the cornerstone of reading about videogames — it didn't take itself too seriously, and it just cared about cool stuff that made people happy. We need more of that, not less.
