Their earlier stuff was awesome, because it was one of the first times industrial music had successfully made it to the masses. Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral, both albums full of great songs and a sound that confused you by making you want to chill and dance at the same time.

Then they got shit.

Their early stuff was just good. And Trent did have a talent for making good music sound better with his remixes, then he just got up his own arse and, well, welcome to now.

OMVFG~!! This, plus the Fragile.....otherwise, WTF is he thinking?!?!

I grew up in the clubs with PHM and DS....great stuff. And yes also on the remixes, much better most of the time...Head Like a Hole, Black as your soul, I rather die then give you control...still freaking kicks ass!!

I don't particularly hate NIN, it's just...there's much better noise/post-rock out there. Mono, Explosions in The Sky, My Bloody Valentine, even Sonic Youth is pretty decent. NIN just seems so inconsistent, I never really know what Reznor is getting it. I haven't listened to too many albums though, just Year Zero and With Teeth.

Perfect Drug in RB is awesome though.
