No because I actually read the reviews. A good review will actually compare the game to its contemporaries, eliminating the whole "numerical" comparison aspect. Look at car reviews in big magazines. They don't give number scores and some, like Car&Driver, have been doing this for almost 50 years. 50 fucking years!

Oh wait, this assumes that people actually take their time before they spend their money, nvm
