For those who already own Killzone 3 (or decide to purchase the full version of Killzone 3 Multiplayer), we have another anniversary treat: next weekend will be a Double XP Weekend! Starting on Friday, March 2 at 17:00 PM UK time, and lasting until Monday, March 5 at 10:00 AM UK time, all XP earned in online Killzone 3 matches will be doubled. The trial version of Killzone 3 Multiplayer will be excluded from the Double XP Weekend, of course â€“ we wouldnâ€™t want you to hit that Sergeant I rank too quickly...

Now, I got heavily into the KZ3 multiplayer, because its fucking good. I play a LOT of Warzone, which is basically a full game of seven objectives in random order, meaning two games are never alike. It really is a blast, and I highly recommend it. That said, the full game can be picked up for less than they're asking, so whatever.

But its a double XP weekend, and I'm already kicking Matt's ass at this game, so does anyone else fancy a few rounds? Theres a UUDD clan all ready to go, just needs members...

It really is really rather good. Hell, the SP campaign is good too, albeit a little short. But yeah, free is cool too.

I remember Killzone 2 being really dark, is it the same in Killzone 3?

My eyes couldn't take the strain, I wear glasses. :ugeek:

I do too, at least when I play this. I'd suggest upping the gamma on the menu if you have trouble.

But no, its not as dark, and its mainly set outside, with very few inside set pieces (save for the very start and towards the end), and the MP maps are about 85% outside, 15% inside, but even the inside is well lit. And its pretty.
