At this stage, I would say hold off on the crafting and gathering until you progress the story. The level of the items you can gather are dependent on the areas themselves, and the best way to level them up are unlocked as you level up and progress. Plus, you need to unlock the ability to have Retainers (read: NPCs you use to sell things via the marketboard) and your ability to use mounts (including your very own chocobo), both of which come via the story missions. So yeah, ignore gathering and crafting for now and get on with the story. There will be PLENTY of time to do that later... |

Troof. I didn't even get into the vast majority of other classes until I was about halfway through the main story. FATEs, extra dungeons, and various leves get incredibly distracting. |

Fucking hell, this Relic quest... It took three times the average wait time just to get at HM Titan, and then I wound up with a bunch of asshats that wouldn't heal/raise for shit. One just went the whole time going "This next one's gonna be a wipe, guys" ad nauseam. Finally, after a few wipes, someone initiated a vote to abandon, and when that got rejected (amazingly), I wound up getting kicked out.

Hang fire til Monday, and me, Art, Lam and Rika will help out. Titan HM is a twat, but if you know the pattern, relatively easy. More reactions than anything. And if Cassy can do it...  Also, Garuda HM is easier than Garuda Normal. Go figure. |
